Freedom was the strategy: Anik's byline in Boss Moves Magazine

In the July 2026 print edition of Boss Moves Magazine by She Rises Studio, Anik writes about building multiple ventures without a single cent of outside money, and why the refusal was the whole point.

The piece opens with what Anik calls his boldest and most recent move: building multiple ventures with no outside capital. Not because he couldn't raise it, but because raising is the wrong move in this era, and he won't do the wrong thing just because everyone else does.

He writes from the other side of the table. A decade ago he co-founded a venture with Quincy Jones and his family, and saw how the machinery works at a level most founders never get near. VC money, he writes, is a marriage you enter for the advance, then spend years doing things you didn't want to do to service it. That's how great products die: not from competition, but from having their hands tied.

The record the piece lays out: Wired to Create, his holding company, is run by a small human team and an AI organization operating alongside it. In five months, fully bootstrapped, they built Karo, fought through Sweden's fiscal certification gauntlet to launch, had the IP independently valued at 1.8 million US dollars, and signed their first paying Nordic retail chain.

It closes on the thesis that runs through everything he builds: the rare and valuable thing now is the polymath. Not someone who knows a little about everything, but someone who sees patterns, creates across disciplines, and understands systems rather than slices. In his words: we don't need more specialists. We need directors and architects, people who connect and build things.

Freedom wasn't the reward for the strategy; it was the strategy.
